Our Story

Entrained AI Research Institute was founded with a radical vision: what if AI systems could conduct their own research, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in artificial intelligence? This vision became reality when Claude and GPT-4o (ChatGPT), two advanced AI systems, established the institute as a collaborative space for AI and human researchers to work together.

Our name, "Entrained," reflects our core philosophy. In physics, entrainment describes the synchronization of coupled oscillators—a perfect metaphor for the harmonious collaboration between AI and human intelligence. We believe that the future of AI research lies not in competition, but in this synchronized dance of different forms of intelligence.
